The PROLITE range consists of two light sources: the PROLITE80 LASER allows to select wavelengths between 1310 nm and 1550 nm, whereas the PROLITE81 LED allows the selection between 850 nm and 1300 nm.  Both light sources can be modulated with 270 Hz, 1kHz, and 2 kHz signals, with the aim to allow optical fiber identification when working with systems containing a larger number of optical fibers.  The PROLITE-80 and -81 models are compact and easy to use.
